COMPETE members' participation in the Labs to Market program

From 26 May to 16 September 2022, the Ljubljana University Incubator is organizing the »Labs to Market« program, which enables entrepreneurial individuals from the research field to commercialize their laboratory discoveries and new technologies.

The program will include our employees from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the University of Ljubljana, the Chair of Micro Process Engineering and Technology of the University of Ljubljana, and the National Institute of Chemistry.

They will present the use of biocatalysis and microfluidics for the efficient preparation of stable enzymes that can be used for the sustainable production of energy and substances, and many other purposes. This new environmentally friendly technology provides better stability and long-term use of enzymes, lower production costs, and reduced carbon footprint.
